The Phillip Island RSL takes pride in providing welfare support to the Veterans and families within the Community. The Veteran & Community Services’ team along with our dedicated volunteers are committed to achieve these outcomes.

VETERAN & Community Services

The Phillip Island RSL welfare team and its volunteers take pride in providing welfare support to all veterans and families, as well as community members.

The Phillip Island RSL Sub Branch committee is committed to this cause and sees it as the core value of the RSL.

Our team of dedicated volunteers are consistently fundraising to assist in running programs and activities to help support this great cause.

Medical transport

The Phillip Island RSL provides transport to members on and off the Island. The order of priority is Service, Affiliate and then Social members. We require two weeks’ notice to arrange a volunteer driver – we may not always be able to guarantee this service. Fees for PIRSL Members are:

  • Phillip Island/San Remo – $10
  • Wonthaggi – $30
  • Melbourne & other areas – $60
DVA matters / Welfare support

The Phillip Island RSL welfare team is made up of Military Compensation and Welfare Advocates with a vast knowledge across all areas concerning DVA, service, health related and general support matters. This is a free service. Come in and speak to our team if you have any concerns in these areas.
