Appeals
Volunteers are sought ten days prior to the lead up of ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day to help sell badges/poppies as part of our major fundraising drive. Volunteer shifts are usually for 2 hours and are often located within supermarkets, shopping centres, sporting events, and within Cowes shopping precinct. Contact Cheryl Overton.
A Driver for our Medical Transport program
Must have a full drivers’ licence and first aid to at least level 2 (or prepared to obtain qualification); comfortable driving in Melbourne metropolitan traffic
Memorial Garden
Weeding, pruning and general garden maintenance
Breakfast Club
Assist with preparation of breakfast for children at Cowes Primary School each Wednesday morning between May and December from 8am to 9am
Education program
Ideal for ex-teachers who love presenting to children a hands-on experience utilising our memorabilia – helmets, caps and equipment
Memorabilia and Library
Assist Memorabilia Officer to catalogue and learn the system
